I love to cook! Now don’t get me wrong I use dried herbs in my dishes all the time. But there is nothing quite like the taste and smell of fresh herbs. Therefore, I am creating my own indoor herb garden. Now I tried this one other time and it worked out so well until…… I took my herbs outside over the summer and when a storm came, there went my herbs. On the plus side when I redo my herb garden this time I can share it with all of you.
When I decided to redo my herb garden I also thought I would expand it. Originally I planted the eight herbs that I use the most in cooking: Basil, Cilantro, Oregano, Parsley, Rosemary, Sage, and Thyme. I also added in Lavender which I don’t tend to cook with but I love the smell. This time I am expanding to thirty-five cooking, medicinal and tea herbs.

I am so excited to be able to go pick herbs from my own greenhouse. To be completely honest with you I don’t even know what some of these are. I am going to get these seeds going and in the meantime I’ll research how to use them. Keep following along as over the next couple weeks I’ll post updates on how my herbs are coming.
If you want to start your own indoor herb garden I highly encourage you to check out these products that I am using:
Organo Republic- This company prides themselves on having a high germination rate, they use suppliers exclusively from the USA and verify the seeds they sell are non-GMO, non-hybrid, and true heirloom varieties. Here is the link to the seeds that I use. https://amzn.to/4oMzmt2
KOL Mini Greenhouse- This greenhouse is super easy to assemble, the cover is clear so it is easy to see your sprouts, and it is lightweight in case you need to move it. Here is the link to the greenhouse I use.
Ryscam Seed Starter Tray- Can’t say enough about this set up. It comes with adjustable grow lights. Not to mention the seed trays are sturdy, environmentally friendly and…….non-toxic! Grab the seed start tray here.
